Developing a unique UI&UX design

The task of the designer is not to make a beautiful website, but one that will convert visitors into buyers. To achieve this goal, you need to work on website design in two directions:

UI — «classic design» to create the visual part of the site: colors, fonts, graphic elements, etc.;
UX — «marketing design» , which works on the usability of the site, so that the customer can easily and quickly complete the necessary required target action.

UI and UX design is necessary in cases of rebranding, high bounce rate, simplification of complex sites and, of course, when creating websites from scratch.

The process of developing a unique design includes several stages:

Drafting a brief and an introductory meeting — based on oral or written questionnaires, a brief is drafted. During the process, the manager through the right questions creates a full-scale model of the future site and gives a price evaluation of their work. After that there is an introductory meeting, which the designer attends, discussing there the final cost;
Prototyping — the designer develops a prototype page. It is a sketch showing the structure of the future page: titles, text blocks, images, etc.;
Development of the final design — after the approval of the prototype, the design is developed, including colors and fonts. The customer is provided with a finished layout with the option of online viewing in Figma;
The launch and testing of the platform — the approved layout is transferred to the customer’s platform, filled with content and launched in test mode. Only after all the bugs are corrected the site goes into «free float.»
